I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on updating my portfolio with new product collections over the past few months. There are a lot of art licensing trade shows at the beginning of the year, and my agents asked me to whip up some new collections for them to pitch.

Why product collections?

Art directors love to see how your work will actually fit on their products. When you’re pitching to potential licensing partners in specific industries, it’s helpful to show your art on their product categories.

My deck is centered around kitchen and tabletop items. This is a big art licensing category that I haven’t been focusing on in my portfolio. My agents noticed this and suggested that I put together some collections for the 2024 trade shows.
